The Arts & Business Council is launching an empowering professional development series in early 2012 to meet the needs of Boston's many musicians. A partnership between the Arts & Business Council and the Berklee College of Music Rethink Music Initiative, and with generous support from Music Drives Us, this series of topic-specific workshops and webinars begins in February and culminates in the Rethink Music Conference in April.

Call For Artists - Violence Transformed 2012 - seeks entries in any medium for exhibition and digital projection at the Massachusetts State House and other curated venues in April, May, and June. They welcome artworks addressing issues of protest, refuge, healing, and commemoration and are particularly interested in works that give expression to the transformative power of art by imagining alternatives to violence. Deadline: February 18, 2011.
